CHECKLIST!
1. Plant local native plants! These are the plants that evolved here with the fauna.
2. Provide flowering and fruiting native plants. A variety of plants = a variety of animals.
3. Limit lawn and, where possible, remove exotic plants.
4. Provide clean water.
5. Provide habitats - logs, rocks, hollows, mulch.
6. Embrace some mess. Nature is not neat nor should all of your yard be....
7. Grow some food and some native food.
8. Enclose pets.
9. Learn about nature and wildlife.
10. Avoid chemical use.
